The study was conducted in line with technological
developments, to develop instructional software as a web-based e-learning.
Usefulness of e-learning as a form of learning models varied. The introduction
of Information Technology for students and as a medium of interactive learning
between teachers and students. The development of e-learning system using PHP
programming language and MySQL database.
This study was conducted in laboratory Faculty of Electrical
Engineering Department of Computer Engineering, State University of Jakarta and
SMK 1 PGRI Jakarta. The study was conducted in April to June 2011, using the
method of experiment.
E-learning web application is integrated with a web-based SMS
Gateway successfully tested through localhost network. E-learning web
application to upload and download materials as learning materials. Web
e-learning also helps teachers manage student grades as parental monitoring
students' learning achievement. This site can be supported information system with
SMS gateway information systems.
